Challenge

The launch of every flagship smartphone in the Galaxy S Series is always surrounded by anticipation and excitement. It was no different for the Galaxy S23. Packed with incredible features, including an epic camera, cinematic nightography, and a game-changing 4nm processor, this truly is a device made to 'Share the Epic'. The challenge for us was not to just introduce it to media and influencers in Dubai, but to create an experience that would be as epic as the phone itself.

Thought process

Nothing short of an epic experience would do. We could have the most charismatic presenters talk about the phone for hours, but it wouldn't come close to the real experience. So, we thought, why not let our guests experience the epic features in an epic way?

For the Galaxy S23's media launch, we designed an epic night with dedicated zones for guests to experience the phone's features. The tone for the night was set with highly engaging presentations by Samsung's management team. As the night unfolded, guests were able to immerse themselves in the epic worlds of night photography, gaming, and more in their respective experiential zones. To deliver a holistic epic experience, we selected an open-air poolside venue with stunning views of Burj Khalifa and had neon signs of the slogan "Share the Epic" strategically placed to amplify our messaging.
