Nespresso Ramadan
Challenge
Nespresso, with a rich history of promoting its brand and products across the MEA markets on social media during Ramadan, faced a unique challenge. The brand had encountered difficulties in the past when attempting to feature individuals in their ads and navigating the sensitivities surrounding the display of food and beverages during fasting times.
Thought process
In a time traditionally characterised by functional beverages consumed post Iftar for digestion and energy, Nespresso stood out as an exception. It had the potential to contribute to the creation of indulgent recipes, foster delightful family moments, and serve as memorable gifts.
Drawing inspiration from the popular trend of "satisfying videos" already prevalent on social media, we crafted a concept that not only appealed aesthetically but also provided the flexibility to curate impactful ads specific to recipes, gifts, and products. This approach allowed us to showcase Nespresso's unique offerings in a visually compelling manner while respecting the cultural nuances of Ramadan.
